Cast Bed   The bed is constructed with flake graphite cast iron with tensile strength of 200 Mpa. The high carbon content delivers high compression resistance and extra hardness. Cast iron is superior to a fabricated frame due to its shock absorption properties and is thermally stable. The stability of casting means the bed is durable and will maintain accuracy over a long life time.

Dust Extraction & Fume Filtration   BODOR have two dust extraction systems, both include fume filtration devices. The first dust exaction system sucks air out from under the cutting bed. The second dust extraction systems extracts air from the top corners of the enclosed sheetmetal cabinet of the cutting area.

Shuttle Table   The compact over – under design significantly improves production. Unload and reload the table outside the machine while the other is on duty inside the machine.

Aluminium Bridge   The bridge is one piece cast aluminium. Significantly lighter than a steel construction and the BODOR design, with strategically placed ribs in the profile, no structural strength difference than a steel one. The lighter bridge weight means we can achieve acceleration of up to 1.2 G

Safety   The table change area is guarded with a light curtain. The light curtain must be intact when the tables are changing but can be interrupted when the table is safely in the cutting area. Therefore you can remove the cut parts and load a new workpiece while the enclosed working area cuts new parts.

Auto Focus Capacitance Cutting Head   BODOR auto focusing head is integrated into the control system. When the operator selects different material types and thickness the focal length is automatically adjusted for the best cutting results. No manual intervention required.  The control system also monitors the capacitance between the nozzle and the workpiece. The controller keep the capacitance value the same therefore the head automatically traces the minor contour differences in the workpiece.  The BODOR head has a built-in double water cooling structure. Maintaining a constant temperature avoids the lenses overheating and extends their service life.
