MAXPHOTONIC Fibre Laser Resonator
IPG is the World leader in high power fibre lasers. IPG pioneered the development of optical fibre based lasers for metal cutting. IPG is the only company that offers the complete system being the semiconductor diode pump, the optical fibre and the amplifier.

Auto Focus Capacitance Cutting Head
BODOR auto focusing head is integrated into the control system. When the operator selects different material types and thickness the focal length is automatically adjusted for the best cutting results. No manual intervention required.
The control system also monitors the capacitance between the nozzle and the workpiece. The controller keep the capacitance value the same therefore the head automatically traces the minor contour differences in the workpiece.
The BODOR head has a built-in double water cooling structure. Maintaining a constant temperature avoids the lenses overheating and extends their service life.
Bed
Sturdy fabricated bed made from 160 x 160mm square section.
Helical Rack
BODOR uses high quality Taiwanese Helical rack & pinion drives. The rack teeth are hardened for long durability
Controller
The BODOR control system supports the import of part geometry from CAD system. Once part geometry is read into the controller it optimises cutting order automatically. The controller includes simple sheet search functions to automatically align the work plane. It is a simple to use graphical interface.
Rear Chuck

Linear Bearings
BODOR uses high precision Taiwanese linear bearings on all moving ways.
Dust Extraction & Fume Filtration
BODOR have a dust extraction systems, which includes fume filtration devices. It sucks air out of the cutting head cabinet.
