  Robust Machine body  The machine body is strengthen and lowered to minimise twisting and deformation. All components of the machine frame including the cross members are stress relieved after welding.

  Digital Readout for 60/80/100/125  As standard the DURMA model PBH 60 sectional rolling machine has a digital readout display for the two bending rolls (X & Y axes).  The operator can quickly and easily view the position of these axes.  Push button control provides safe and easy movement.

  Electrical and Electronic System for 240/330/360  Only the World leading electrical and electronic components are used in DURMA machines.  The system has current overload protection components integrated into it.

  Planetary Swing Roll System for 60/80/100  The bending rolls are 2 independent axes which swing up in an orbit motion.  The orbit motion minimises spring back.  This allows a DURMA machine to roll tighter curves.    Manual side supports for 60/80/100  These are used to guide the material on the in feed and out feed side.  These are excellent features to help minimise deformation.

Each side support features three independent hydraulic axes.  These are used to guide the material on the in feed and out feed side.  These are excellent features to help minimise deformation.

  High Torque Drive System for 240/300/360  DURMA sectional rolls produce extremely high torque therefore you can bend the section with fewer steps.  The rolls are powered by three independent hydraulic motors thought a planetary reduction gearbox.  The strong hydraulic brake system does not allow the section to slip back.  Pressure safety valves protect the hydraulic system from overload.

  Hardened Former Rolls   The standard set of former rolls are manufactured for highly durable C4140 grade steel.  They are manufacture on large CNC lathes with high precision.  The working surfaces are induction hardened to HRC 54 ± 2.  The tooling gap is adjusted by the threaded collar on the end of the spindle.

  NC Control   Optional for 80/100/125/240/300/360    In additional to the digital readout the NC control can be programmed but also features the “teach in” mode where the operator can record all steps.  In automatic mode the machine we re-trace all steps.     NC control system X, Y, R, Z, U, C axes (All 9 axes full side support control).

Especially on these profiles because of the asymmetric load resulting in twisting.  Durma patented deformation preventing system decreases deformation.
