Spindle Design   Higher Axial and Radial Stiffness  - Higher axial and radial stiffness is achieved by the Hardinge 4 BEARING spindle. - 2 x 40 degree angular contact bearings to absorb huge thrust - 2 x roller bearing to keep the spindle running true and eliminate spindle whip

Rigid Construction  -Heavy duty X-and Z-axis roller type linear guideways feature maximum static and dynamic stiffness for longer machine life. - C2 class X axis ball screw, pre-tensioned, with double nut, hardened and ground for low noise and low thermal displacement. - Z axis pre-tensioned ball screw reduces temperature increase during traverse. - All servo motors are directly coupled to the ball screws.  This provides direct drive positive and accurate movement of the carriage.
