The GS MSY series multitasking CNC turning centres offer the ultimate in turning and milling functionality.  Main spindle and sub spindle for turning a part on both ends, plus Y axis with live tooling allows complex off centre milling, to deliver a finished part in one setup.

  Rigid Construction   Extra stable base  - One piece 30-degree high quality cast iron.  Allows heavy cutting with precision tolerances and fine surface finish.     Heavy duty linear guide ways  - Roller guideways significantly improve rigidity and load bearing capacity over ball type guides.   Double nut ballscrews  - The double nut hardened and ground ball screws are laser calibrated.   Grease lubricated  - Grease lubrication provides several advantages over way lube oil.  No oil skimmer required, no degradation of water based coolants, environmentally friendly – no need to dispose of contaminated oil, improves machine maintenance.

  12 Station VDI 40 Live Tooling Turret  Bidirectional indexing allows shortest path for reduced non-cut time.  The non-lift turret indexing ensures contaminant free operation.  Indexing is by brushless servomotor with positive hydraulic clamping.   Rigid Tapping  - Standard Synchronization between the main spindle and the Z axis motion provides precise and fast rigid tapping operation.     Live Tooling  - Standard The 4,000rpm live tooling feature eliminates the need for many secondary milling operations thus reducing additional part handling and setup cost.  All stations of the top plate are live-tool ready.  A disc-type hydraulic brake provides positive locking during static machining operations.
